Beth Powning has written six books : Home – Chronicle of a North Country Life (writing and photography) ; Shadow Child (non-fiction) ; The Hatbox Letters (novel) ; Edge Seasons (non-fiction) ; The Sea Captain’s Wife (novel) ; and A Measure of Light (novel). She was the recipient of the 2010 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for English Literary Arts. She is currently working on a new novel. 20171117
